Top quality easily integrated
BMT produces parts for all kinds of motorcycles and was already reaping the benefits of a Dürr painting robot in its factory in Cikarang since 2018. Faced with growing production demand, BMT incorporate technology solutions from Dürr there as well. The new paint shop was equipped with a ready2spray system and put into operation in 2024.
ready2integrate and ready2spray
Dürr doesn’t just stop at the automotive industry when it comes to integrating fully automated painting solutions. It also offers optimum robot systems with preassembled application technology for any painting job in general industry.
As part of its ready2integrate and ready2spray concepts, Dürr creates sets consisting of different products, perfectly tailored to suit the customer's needs. This means both installation times and project risk can be significantly reduced, and integration made much easier. Another advantage is that the products are supplied individually, even though they are preassembled, meaning they can be installed flexibly on site.
Increase in production capacity
Drawing on their experience with the Dürr application already in use, the Dürr team made some improvements in the new factory. The turntable was lengthened, thereby reducing the overall cycle time by 10 to 20 seconds. Following the integration of an external operating panel, the purge process, short purge process and the paint supply are now automated. As a result, the new system has greatly increased production capacity at the site.
Dürr is delighted that the customer was so satisfied with its work that it has now placed a subsequent order.
