Dürr Korea: 2024 Supplier of the Year

Dürr Korea announced that it has been selected as ‘Supplier of the Year 2024’ by Hyundai Motor and Kia.

The award ceremony, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the partnership, took place on January 17 in Jeju Island. Hyundai Motor and Kia hosted the event to strengthen relationships with suppliers and foster mutual growth

Executives from Hyundai Motor and Kia, along with key supplier representatives, attended the ceremony, where outstanding suppliers in various categories were honored.

Outstanding partners received awards in recognition of their exceptional performance in their respective categories.

Dürr Korea was recognized for:

- Successfully implementing an automated production line using 8-axis robots (EcoRPL 143i), improving productivity.

- Achieving energy savings and carbon emission reductions through the TAR-Ecoat oven renovation at Hyundai’s Ulsan plant, compared to previous ovens.

- Supplying painting equipment for Kia’s EVO new plant and Hyundai’s EV new plant (Greenfield Project).
