EcoPaintJet Pro: Overspray-free painting for more individuality

 

Most people have certainly used an inkjet printer at some point. But now imagine the printer trying to apply ink beyond the page margins and printing directly on the cabinet or desk every time. Not very practical, is it? And wasteful too! Dürr applied this problem to the automotive industry and also found a solution: The EcoPaintJet was the first production-ready application of overspray-free paint application in the automotive industry.

In the further developed Pro version, the robot system can now also paint complex body surfaces such as vertical surfaces or A- and C-pillars. In addition, individual designs can be applied - and all this without masking and fully automatically. Thanks to the intelligent interaction of high-tech components from paint application, robotics and software, the system achieves maximum precision, while at the same time being more energy efficient and conserving resources. Overspray-free painting with the EcoPaintJet Pro: this advanced technology allows vertical surfaces, roof arches and door panels to be coated in contrasting colors and, in particular, enables patterns to be applied where otherwise a wrap would have to be used.
